Make an Impact with YRES

Plaza Kia and Plaza Auto Group are proud to support the York Region Educational Services (YRES). YRES is a dedicated non-profit charitable organization committed to providing free and affordable educational services to families across York Region and beyond. Why Donate?

YRES operates a range of impactful programs—from weekend and summer camps to personal development and STEAM workshops. Donations help:

Keep camps affordable and create free spots for families in need.(yorkeducation.org)
Fund specific initiatives such as:
- Camps (March Break, weekends, summer)
- Back‑to‑School Drive supplies like backpacks
- Youth development through LEGO robotics and guest speaker sessions
- Digital learning, including laptops for coding clubs
- Library expansion and scholarships

Our Goal

YRES aims to raise $15,000 CAD to enhance its program quality, launch new initiatives, and reduce costs for participants. So far, $2,500 has been raised toward this goal.(yorkeducation.org)

800+ children enrolled in affordable camps during 2023–2024
Over 1,500 volunteers who joined educational initiatives
500+ active programs in STEAM, language, personal development, day camps, and more

You can support YRES in multiple ways:
